Plain terms, in writing: who pays what, when, and what happens if the tutor is not right.
Who you are paying: intermediary disclosure
Qutbnuma is a tutor placement service (an intermediary). Tutors are independent, not Qutbnuma employees. We introduce, check and follow up; the parent and the tutor agree the teaching method, timing and fee between themselves. “Qutbnuma’s share” below is our fee for that introduction and follow-up. Qutbnuma is not an open online marketplace: the founder makes every match.

Is your share an extra charge?
No. Our share comes out of the agreed first-month fee. In month 1 the parent pays the same fee agreed with the tutor; half of it goes to Qutbnuma and half to the tutor.
Monthly tuition, fee Rs 10,000: in month 1, Rs 5,000 to Qutbnuma and Rs 5,000 to the tutor. From month 2, Rs 10,000 straight to the tutor.
Crash course, total fee Rs 12,000: 35%, or Rs 4,200, to Qutbnuma; Rs 7,800 to the tutor.
These amounts are examples only. The parent and the tutor set the real fee.

Who pays what, and when
Every payment is recorded against an Order ID.
Request and match
You send a request; we match a tutor we have checked.
Free demo class
One demo class is free. If it does not feel right, you do not have to confirm.
Confirm and get your Order ID
When you confirm, we send an Order ID on WhatsApp. Format: QN-YYMMDD-NNN, for example QN-261001-001 (the first order on 1 October 2026).
Pay Qutbnuma’s share
Send our share (50% of the first month’s fee) directly to Qutbnuma by bank transfer or JazzCash, to the account details we send you on WhatsApp. Write the Order ID in the reference or notes, and send the screenshot on WhatsApp.
Pay the tutor
The other 50% of the first month goes to the tutor.
Month 2 onwards
The full fee goes straight to the tutor. Nothing is paid to Qutbnuma.
Paid the full amount to the tutor?
No problem. The tutor then sends Qutbnuma’s share within 3 days, with the Order ID. Qutbnuma never holds a tutor’s money.
Payment safety
Pay only to account details that reach you from our official WhatsApp number (0313-2988345) together with your Order ID. If anyone asks you to pay another number or account, check with our official WhatsApp first.

One demo class before you confirm, completely free. After it you can confirm or say no, with no charge.
7-day replacement
Not satisfied with the tutor in the first 7 days? Tell us on WhatsApp and we arrange a replacement tutor at no extra charge.
Full refund of our share
If we cannot find a suitable replacement within 7 days, Qutbnuma’s share is refunded in full.
This guarantee covers Qutbnuma’s share. Fees paid to the tutor are between the parent and the tutor (Qutbnuma does not hold the tutor’s money), but we help with the conversation if there is a problem.
Pro-rata rule
If tuition stops in the first month
If tuition stops during the first month for a reason that is not the tutor’s fault (for example the family moves or the child’s schedule changes), Qutbnuma’s share is charged only for the days taught, with a minimum of one week. If you have already paid the full share, we return the rest.
If the problem is on the tutor’s side, tell us on WhatsApp straight away: in the first 7 days the replacement guarantee above applies.
Our share was Rs 5,000 and tuition stopped after 12 days (taking a 30-day month):
Rs 5,000 × 12 ÷ 30 = Rs 2,000 is our share. If you had paid Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 comes back to you.
If tuition ran for less than a week, one week’s share applies.
12-month non-circumvention
For 12 months after an introduction, if the same tutor teaches the same family (siblings included), even if it was arranged outside Qutbnuma, it counts as a Qutbnuma placement and these fee rules apply. The rule applies to parents and tutors alike.
Complaints
Send complaints only to our official WhatsApp, with your Order ID. You get a written reply within 15 days (in line with the Sindh Consumer Protection Act 2014), usually within 24 hours.
