Refund Policy
When and how much of its share Qutbnuma returns, in plain words.
Last updated: 24 September 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers Qutbnuma’s share only: 50% of the first month’s fee for monthly tuition, or 35% of the total agreed fee for short tuition (a crash course of 45 days or less). The tutor’s fee goes to the tutor; Qutbnuma does not hold tutors’ money, so that amount is settled between the parent and the tutor (we help with the conversation). Parents and tutors pay no registration fee, so there is nothing to refund there.
2. Replacement first, then a full refund
- If you are not satisfied with the tutor in the first 7 days, tell us on WhatsApp. Qutbnuma arranges a replacement tutor at no extra charge.
- If no suitable replacement is found within 7 days, Qutbnuma’s share is refunded in full (100%).
3. Partial refund: the pro-rata rule
If tuition stops during the first month for a reason that is not the tutor’s fault, Qutbnuma’s share is charged only for the days taught, with a minimum of one week. If you have already paid the full share, the rest is refunded.
Share Rs 5,000; tuition ran for 12 days (taking a 30-day month): Rs 5,000 × 12 ÷ 30 = Rs 2,000 is charged, and Rs 3,000 is refunded.
4. When our share is not refunded
- When the first 7 days have passed and tuition continues, except under the pro-rata rule above.
- When a replacement tutor has been arranged and tuition continues (our share then counts for the new tutor’s placement).
5. How to ask for a refund
- Send your Order ID, the reason and the tuition dates to our official WhatsApp.
- You get a written reply within 15 days (in line with the Sindh Consumer Protection Act 2014), usually within 24 hours.
- Once a refund is approved, it is sent by bank transfer or JazzCash, preferably by the same method you paid with.
